goods是可数名词，在使用的时候用复数形式，它的意思为“货物、罪证”，读法：英 [ɡ?dz]；美 [ɡ?dz]，造句：The goods are now in transit.（这批货物正在运输途中）。

goods的用法

1. 表示“商品”“货物”，只有复数形式;用作主语，谓语也要用复数。如：

Half his goods were stolen. 他有一半货物被盗。

These goods belong to Mr Smith. 这些货是史密斯先生的。

有时直接用于名词前作定语。如：

A goods train carries goods. 货运列车是运载货物的。

2. 可以与 these, those, many, few 等连用，但不与数词连用，也不用表示数量的much或little修饰。如：

These goods are priced too high. 这些货物定价过高。

We never used to import so many goods. 我们过去从来没有进口过这么多货物。

Fewer goods have been bought from us. 自从提价以后，我们失去了许多顾客的生意。

要具体地表示货物的件数，可借助piece。如：

two (three, four) pieces of goods 2件(3件、4件)货

3. 汉语说“赃物”，说成英语是stolen goods。如：

He was still carrying the stolen goods when he was caught. 抓住他的时候他身上还带着赃物。
